1. In the prologue Manny is on his way to his own wedding, and he says that his family thought they were finally playing him, that he was dancing to their tune, when in fact he had THEM dancing to his tune. This make us think that Manny has a plan to get out of the wedding, and escape from his family. But, we also think that Manny's father is too controlling to let him escape from Manny's punjabi life. Perhaps Manny won't be able to get out of the wedding?
2. We would all try to avoid the wedding, but it would have been really hard because of the controlling father.
3. Yes. Everybody in Manny's family are married to punjabi girls and no one but Manny seems to think that it's strange to marry someone they don't even know.
